I don't understand why Canada has never been very accepting of Cherry Coke, or maybe I should say Cherry Coke has never been very accepting of Canada. I remember Cherry Coke finally came to Canada around '98, but then it disappeared. Now that I'm in the States on a daily basis, I'm constantly dropping by Tops and Wegman's to pick up some necessary items us Canadians don't have and shouldn't live without. These includes:
- Archer's Farms cereals
- Dunkin' Donuts coffee grinds (I also must mention my love for their iced coffee!!)
- Crazy flavours of Coffee-Mate (my new favourite being creme brulee)
- Coca-Cola Cherry Zero!
I don't know what I'll ever do if I have to move far from the US border because I now feel like I can't live without these items. Also, my classmates have started teasing me because of the number of times I visit Target each week (every other day, sometimes more).
Oh, I'm doing my placement at a summer school, teaching kindergarten failures. Yes, it's possible to fail kindergarten. I don't remember having to read and write full sentences by the end of kindergarten, but these days you do. Anyway, the kids are hilarious! I have to stop myself from laughing every time they talk about pee and poo and say "That's not appropriate." It's tough. haha.
This one kid was telling me about how he plans to dress up as Michael Jackson for Halloween and is always singing "Thriller" in class. Ah, these kids are awesome and the progress they're making is amazing. I don't know what I'm gonna do when summer school is over and who knows if I'll ever see them again? *tears*
